Best Char Kway Teow I've had in like 15 years! Super delicious! Well done chef, my hats off to you! Staff were attentive and friendly eventhough they were very busy. Thank you for the memorable dinner, will be back again when I'm on my travels north.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch. Perfect spot for a holiday with friendly staff.
The food is always fantastic and the service is excellent. If you haven't tried the banquet yet, you should - just make sure you come hungry! :o)
Went through all the reviews to make sure we are not gonna get horrible food. (bad experience few days back at Malaysia House in Mackay definitely AVOID that restaurant , we ordered a couple of safe dishes recommended in the reviews here. Avoided the massaman curry etc .. ordered the fried kuay teow and Mee Goreng. First photo is the fried kuay teow. It has enough 'wok hei ' which means it is pretty authentic to a Malaysian fried kuay teow, so that is a 5 star from me. Mee goreng is quite good, not 5 star but 4. Both dishes are very oily so if you are counting macros or watching what you eat, these are not the dishes for you. Taste wise very good. Also ordered the kuih ketayap (no photo with the vanilla ice cream. It 's a green colour dessert. It is okay, not fantastic but ok (3.5 stars . Staff are friendly. I will go back again. Price wise not cheap but like all the reviews say, dishes are big. Msg level tolerable yes there 's msg probably in the sauces. I have a big appetite so I was full, no leftovers.
