I visited Maine 5 years ago and discovered these donuts then and on every trip back I make the effort to stop in because these are the best in the state.
Cash only!!They do say the holes in the doughnut originated in Rockland, Maine!Delicious! Now these are authentic old fashion doughnuts. A tad pricey but a deli...

7:30 am on a Thursday and they were closed with no note on the door as to why.
Excellent old fashioned donuts. Limited selection by 10.30 so get there early. A little pricey at 2$ a donut but worth it for a couple.
