Prime Catch - Rockville Centre

First off we did not care for the seating. We felt as if we were on top of the next table. I ordered the filet and it was so so but the roasted potatoes I had with my steak were very well done . My husband did enjoy his appetizer of fried oysters though. I actually don't see us returning here.

The Prime Catch is a Prime restaurant. Could not ask for better.

The food was decent but nothing exceptional. On the evening of our visit, the service was excellent, especially since we were the only table there until another group arrived towards the end of our meal. Though I’m not an expert on wines, I do enjoy them. We ordered a bottle of Coastal Vines Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 for $33. Given that restaurants aim to make a profit, I find it hard to justify a charge of $33 for a bottle that’s only worth about $4.50 to $5.00, a price I verified on several websites. We had dined at this establishment in the past and had decided not to return. Unfortunately, we didn’t recognize the name while browsing restaurants on OpenTable and ended up giving it another chance.

My wife and I celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary at Prime Catch, and we were thoroughly impressed. The service, the food, and the warm welcome we received at the door were all outstanding. We will definitely return, and we highly recommend Prime Catch to anyone looking for excellent food and service.

We wanted fish, we found it here. There were enough choices to satisfy, and our selections did not disappoint. And the prices were reasonable
