Contribuer aux commentairesWe had gourmet guy to baptize for my daughter and not just the food AMAZING, but Julie was so helpful to help me plan the perfect menu. Everyone was thinking about the food. We will definitely use them for future events.
We used Gourmet Guy for a?Hawaiian theme? Event for 250. The food was incredible! The guests commented all night about the pulled pigs! The serving staff was nice and Julie at Gourmet Guy was a dream to work with! I would recommend them for any event we are so happy!
Absolutely delicious? I'm so happy to find a place that supplies vegetarians and vegans. The Auberginenfries are bombs. They taste literally like normal pommes. I was also very happy with the black bean burger. I have nothing negative to say. The staff was very helpful and polite. I?LL BACKKK!!
Although they are known for their prepped meals. We used Gourmet Guy to cater our wedding. Matt Julie were amazing to work with. When we were picking our menu, they had us in the shop and provided a wide variety of options and the food was excellent and easy to make our choices. With any large scale event you may be concerned that the quality might drop with the quantity, but I can assure you that doesn't happen with Gourmet Guy. We received compliments all night and weeks after our wedding about the chicken, pork, and pasta that was served. People also raved about the appetizers that were passed by their staff during the cocktail hour. The staff was courteous and although they were constantly helping you didn't notice their presence. I would recommend Matt Julie to anyone having a wedding as their catering option.
Gourmet Guy Cafe's may have a condensed menu compared to neighboring diners but that focus showcases the quality and creativity of their food. I was visiting for the first time as part of Cleveland Burger week and of the 5 burgers I indulged in, Gourmet Guy's entry was a ringer. The meat was cooked perfectly and juicy with that crisp outer edge to provide a little bit of char crunch. What really elevated this was the careful pairing of topping that complimented each other while still allowing the burger to stand out. The decision to use brie as the cheese was genious. It melded with the beautifully caramelized onions . All the while hiding delicately in the background was the perfect hint of truffle oil. But then they go one step further and opt for arugula instead of ice berg, romaine, or greens. That light crunchy spice brought an extra brightness to the finish. If the burger wasn't enough, I was the first customer to have one of their new shakes. I chose the Oreo shake and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed that it was not overly sweet. I could taste the ice cream, the Oreo pieces, and the creamy rich finish of the whole milk. It was a satisfying sippable. If you are a local or a visitor, Gourmet Guy should absolutely be on your lunch list. I look forward to my next visit to explore more of the menu.
