We stumbled upon this place on vacation and absolutely loved it. First of all, we were the only tourists there, as it was off the beaten path a bit. Second of all, the food we ordered was DELICIOUS. Not only were the gnocchi light, but the sauce was perfectly flavored and captured the freshness of the tomatoes with skill and precision. We left the restaurant feeling that the gnocchi was the best we'd ever had, after 2 weeks in Italy no less. Third of all, the service was wonderful. The waitress and owner were extremely attentive and friendly. Fourth of all, the interior was simple but tasteful and the facilities were clean. Overall, an excellent dining experience I, a very picky restaurant-frequenter, was very happy with. Rock on Hosteria Rasella! PS. The host at the hotel next door was very nice!
