I was taking a basket making class down the block, when the ladies suggested we walk down to Alexander's for a late lunch/dinner. We shared a combination dip platter which had a variety of dips and spreads with hummus and pita. The waiter had recommended the Socrates lamp chops which were wonderful. They were very flavorful and grilled to perfection (served with Athenian pasta and soup). The mousaka, an eggplant dish also looked delicious and healthy too. We took our time and enjoyed Greek coffee with our desserts. Heavenly. I noticed they are closed on Sundays. This is a nice restaurant that I would love to go back to.
We stopped in here because they were in the fine dining section of our entertainment book. We received a lot of good food for our money. The chef really knows his stuff. They could not give us directions off of I5, but once we found it, we were happy we did.
We stopped in for a late lunch the other day and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was quite delicious and expertly prepared. I ordered my favorite entrée, Spanakopita (served hot and very crispy) with a Greek salad (fresh). I noticed they had nice wine selection also. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Complete kid's menu. Overall a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.
Nice location in old downtown. We stopped for dinner on our way back from the casino. It was really quiet and the food was freshly prepared. It's still on the entertainment card too, which makes it a great value. Can't wait to go back!
This is the best place to eat in the old downtown area of Roseburg. Very reasonable too. It wasn't very busy the last time we were in. I really hope the people of Roseburg support this wonderful, authentic Greek restaurant. I would go here all the time if I lived nearby. The spanakopita is crispy and fresh out of the oven. Generous portions!
