This was my first experience eating at a noodle place and it was great. The restaurant is very clean and I felt they did a good job sanitizing the tables prior to eating and as part of the clean up. The food was very good, you must try the bun appetizersthey are something new for me also. I cant wait to go back and have one of the chicken and pork. The fried dumplings are anothergreat choice, everything looked good. I love a beer once in awhile with my food, and the beer prices are also very reasonable. Iwould go here if it was closer to home and just have a beer at the bar. Cant wait to go back when in that part of town. The waitstaff was on the mark and they well deserved a good tip.
We enjoyed our visit. I was disappointed with the takoyaki. We usually go to the location on Nicolette and the presentation is amazing. Here they used paper crumbs to to top the takoyaki and it didn't have the movement and visual wow we are used to. Ibrought some first timers and talked it up but it was a big disappointment. Food was so good though.
This place serves pretty good ramen. Went in about half hour after they opened. Service was nice, but you know they?re short staffed, so no problem to wait. Had a hearty bowl of the shredded char siu ramen, which said it was spicy, but definitely a mildor less even. Still, the broth was very good, noodles and toppings were perfect. Appetizers were a little less appealing, butflavor was all there. I?d come back again for a quick bite.
It's hard to find good Ramen places in Minnesota, so I was incredibly excited to try this Ramen. My husband and I both got the number one selling pork ramen. I found the pork to be kind of dry and the broth was not nearly as flavorful as I was hoping for.You will have to be rolled out of here though because the portions are big and they do not skimp on the noodles. We also hadtried the octopus appetizer and were a little disappointed that the deep-fried ball had one tiny piece of octopus in a sea ofdeep fried breading. There are better Ramen places out there but this one has plenty of seating and is relatively fast so Iwouldn't be opposed to returning.
