The bartenders are very knowledgeable, delicious cocktails and excellent wine selection! Ingredients are fresh, unique and DELICIOUS! Shanghai must be your new way to downtown Roswell!
Just what Roswell was missing! Everything about this place is on site. My husband and I went to the cocktail after a day of rebuilding. The staff is super friendly; You feel like home. The music was also a pleasant surprise. No lame elevator music or pop country. More like 90s alternative. We ordered the chicken wings and OMG. I usually avoid chicken, but these are so delicious. We did not disappoint the dumplings and Boa either. After we had such a nice time, we went back and took a friend. The entire staff remembered our names! Cheers! Food and drinks were amazing again. This time we have the same things because it was so good, but also got the short rib fried rice. <3 Shanghai is my new favorite place.
It has its own parking, even small. Normally a smaller amount as it is from the main strip, but easy walking to it. Beverage prices are surprisingly very favorable. Use the special features. Food is above average, but not really much wow factor tries the honey sriracha wing and Dan dan noodles. Nonetheless, 5* of me because it creates to have good prices on drinks and is not super crowded while still a good location.
Friday here for dinner. As everywhere in downtown Roswell, parking was a bit hard to find, but it was definitely worth it. Our bartender was very friendly and definitely good service. Cocktails were good. The taste of the wings was not what I hoped, but they are big and definitely fall directly from the bone. I look forward to coming back and trying more of what they offer.
The food is tasty (particularly the Dan Dan noodles chicken wings) the service is friendly efficient. For that alone the fact that it’s filling a hole in the Roswell food scene, I’m sure that Shanghai will thrive better than its predecessors. That said, the only thing lacking is a unique vibe feeling of authenticity. Throwing up a few “typical” Chinese decorations felt like an afterthought instead of a homage to the culture of the people for which your food should be inspired by. That said, I doubt that very few patrons in this area will take note or care!
