Sitwell Arms - Rotherham

Booked a table for 5 of us, we had a lovely spacious table. The staff are so friendly and helpful , 4 of us had the carvery which was brilliant such a good variety of meat and veg.The other had the fish cakes which were yummy

Called in for Sunday lunch carvery , had a drink and was soon found a table , first class service and the food was excellent .

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, got seated straight away. It was table service for food and we were served by 2 lovely waitresses. Food was really lovely, all homemade, nice atmosphere, will definitely return.

Waited at the bar for nearly 10 minutes,only saw 1 lady serving,and she was taking a booking over the phone and was busy. Finally ordered the food,it took an hour to arrive,it was dry and barely warm,so sent it back,and one of the waiting staff apologised and gave us a refund.Such a shame ive eaten here before maybe a year ago and was really nice.

I love the idea of a carvery but they never really deliver for me. Scant portions of meat with tasteless veg. Not so at the Sitwell. Loads of succulent meat, lovely veg and great service! Absolutely loved it. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is the long wait for the other meal the family ordered. Service with a smile though so these things happen.
