I had my first visit and I'm already looking forward to going back! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Michael Kropp, the acoustic singer, was incredibly talented and engaging. For vegetarians, there are options like a bean burger and veggie mac and cheese. As for parking, there are plenty of spots available along Main Street.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: My family and I stopped by for dinner on Wednesday. We had previously been in for drinks but wanted to give the food a try. The weather was nice, and I wished they had outdoor seating available. The air conditioning was quite strong, making it a little chilly inside; my daughter even wished she had brought a jacket. Wings were the special for the night, so we ordered the Korean BBQ wings, which turned out to be one of the last orders before they sold out—surprising for only 6:20 PM. The sauce was delicious, but the wings were on the smaller side; 9 for $14 felt a bit steep. My wife and daughter shared the nachos, and they found them good, especially appreciating the homemade pulled chicken and pickled jalapeños (definitely not out of a can). They wished the cheese sauce was hotter, though; it was only lukewarm and had clumped together. We tried to ask for a hotter side of cheese sauce, but the server came back just as they were finishing their meal. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, which was wonderful—one of the best I’ve ever had. The homemade chips were also excellent! Overall, the service felt a bit lacking, and I’m not sure if our server was new, but she struggled with multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
As others have mentioned, the Nashville chicken sandwich is excellent—quite possibly the best I've had in the area. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals without any complaints. The drinks and tater tots were also enjoyable.
This is a great local spot to grab a bite right in the heart of downtown Royersford, likely within a historic building. The food is tasty, and the atmosphere is lively, just as a sports bar should be. I had the Richard burger and the Downtown Tots, both of which I really enjoyed. The burger patties are impressively thick, and the tots were perfectly crispy, topped with real pieces of crunchy bacon.
