We have made a trip to the restaurant wild man.Because it was a very hot day,we are sitting outside in the garden. For me it was only that there was no menu, and so I was ordered to eat at the service team, without knowing how high the price of the ordered was actually. the one who has to be in the heart of the world.
We were in this beautiful local with a group of 25 people to lunch. the service and eating were excellent, the gasthof is very cozy and traditionally furnished and you can really feel comfortable. the journey is worthwhile and we are looking forward to our next visit there.
We have eaten wonderfully and were very nicely served. special old hospitable decorated with a lot of charm.
This medium mountain hostel (755 m.) is worth a visit to the beauty of the place, the rustiness of the atmosphere, the excellence of the dishes served in simplicity (röstis in varied variations, homemade bread cooked with wood fire, ham farmer, etc.) the cordiality of the reception. the emental remains for many a region to discover. its vernacular architecture is splendid: large farms concentrated under a single roof, virtuoso carpentes. unlike what the toponym suggests, the elemental is not really talking a valley, but a labyrinth of hills and vallings. We never have a general view of it and so we have to take the time to discover the region through sinuous roads. a true school of patience for those who are ready to taste the charms of the found slowness: cyclists, walkers, joggers. the restaurant also operates a buvette on the panoramic viewpoint of oberbüehlchnubel, a few hundred meters away. The view is beautiful. the summer nights, here deeper than in urban areas, are particularly starred. this old farmhouse built in the early 19th century has under the roof a traditional "dance pont" that can accommodate a good hundred people! improvised music concerts, amateur theatre performances are regularly offered. This room can accommodate banquets. a confidential address for those who like the countryside, are content with little (i.e., the essentials!), let themselves be enchanted by the only frequencies of the wind in the foliage of a centenary lime and already retreat to the fumet of a well grilled röstis plate served on a silky wood table to the touch.
