I only live up the road at Mawdesley but i visit here on a reasonably regular basis. The quality of the food and service is top notch. It's recommended to book because of it's popularity. Ive just been and spent about 30 minutes having a quick lunch. Several people had to be turned away because there were no tables available.....which says everything!! Although there is outside seating usually always available some of which is under cover. Thank you to all. Regards Stuart Turner.
A great place in a lovely setting, great choices of food ,cakes and drinks. There's seating inside, outside, undercover and individual huts, great but can be cold this time of the year. The cold and rain didn't stop my Daughter, Sister and myself dinning out in a hut, lovely.
We came for breakfast after a walk in Mere Sand Woods. We had two dogs with us so sat outside in a very cute and comfortable hut. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and the service was lovely. Thank you will definitely be coming back again!
As part of our lunchtime walk, we decided to stop by for a meal. We didn't have a reservation, but despite the busy atmosphere, there were some available tables, and we were fortunate enough to be seated in one of the greenhouses. We ordered a couple of meal packs that came with a salad and coleslaw. Feeling like treating ourselves, we went inside to select and order a dessert. They offer a wide variety of cakes and tray bakes, including gluten-free options. We opted for the chocolate brownie cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious and quite filling. The staff were friendly, and the Boathouse Brasserie is situated in a lovely spot by the canal. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return soon.
