The two burgers we ordered were nothing special; I can't say much about them. The small cup of coffee wasn't great either. However, what shocked me was how dirty the staff's clothing was. The young man's trousers were disgusting, and he was serving our food. I hope this was just a one-time occurrence, but I also saw another staff member with dirty clothing. If I were running a restaurant, I would have sent them home. This was around noon. I also had to use their restroom, and the smell of stale urine was terrible. I would recommend avoiding this place in the future.
I was really craving a cooked breakfast, but as a solo diner, I didn't want too much attention or fuss. I ordered the Bigger One without eggs, which was absolutely delightful. My server was attentive without being intrusive, kept my coffee cup full, and I loved the American Diner, Pulp Fiction vibes. The service was fast, the food cooked to order, and exactly what I was looking for.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast and lovely, friendly staff. I never manage to eat all of a full English breakfast, but on this occasion, I actually did! Thanks ladies!
Remarkably efficient, and it really is a fast-food place. I was seated promptly, served promptly, and the meal arrived quickly I enjoyed the vegetarian tex-mex, and portions were great. Nice atmosphere, too. Loos are a bit basic, but clean and functional.
At various times of the year I stop at the OK Diner at Stamford for a bite to eat whenever I go to see my brothers in Sheffield and stop at the Southbound one going home but I had an operation last December which meant for bowel reasons I was unable to drive long distances. NB during this time I have missed going to these OK Diners.
