Got the garlic bread and the cinnamon raisin bread, more garlic for me, I don't like garlic enough, but still good. friendly service, smells good inside.

We tried this bakery for the first time yesterday. Bought four cinnamon rolls, a loaf of rye bread and a cookie. The cookie was fine, but the bread was really dry and so were the cinnamon rolls. Threw them out. Won't go there again.

Smells absolutely delightful in there, incredibly nice staff, pretty breads but the bread themselves were very dry. I bough challah from them and it was very dry and dense, it is beautifully braided though.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The interior feels like a dream for carb lovers. The staff is always incredibly friendly and eager to help with anything you might want. They offer a variety of items, from delicious baked treats to classic breads. With such a diverse selection, there’s something for everyone. You can really tell that everything is made on-site, as you can see countless trays filled with fresh dough waiting to go in the oven. It’s an outstanding spot that you definitely shouldn’t miss!

I called them right away and was thrilled to discover they had three small bread bowls left. I asked them to hold them for me and made my way to the bakery. Once inside, I was captivated by the array of sweet and savory bread options, including pretzels, cookies, and other delightful treats. It was also fascinating to learn that their wholesale department supplies baked goods to many popular restaurants in Sacramento! I ended up getting the bread bowls along with some enormous pretzels that I simply couldn't resist. The cream of crab soup turned out perfectly, served in a warmed sourdough bowl. Thank you, Grateful Bread, for saving dinner!

This restaurant has been serving freshly baked bread for 30 years, and their sourdough starter has been going strong for 30 years as well. I absolutely love the 2lb sourdough batard for making sandwiches, while my partner enjoys the Grateful 9-Grain bread. The bear claw pastry is also a delightful treat!

This is the best sourdough I've ever had! They allow their starter to develop for longer than any other local or online bread company I've encountered. With non-GMO ingredients and a focus on simple, authentic components, this is the only bread I want. I recommend getting their old-fashioned packaging with the clear wrap and blue sticker label, as it doesn't contain any unnecessary additives like dough conditioners.

I absolutely love their vegan bread and cookies! The bread is incredibly hearty. You really can't go wrong with any of their options for bread and cookies.

I think I've tried almost every bread, croissants, and cinnamon rolls from GRATEFUL BREAD, and I'm VERY GRATEFUL for all of them. The Muesli is my favorite, so far. Besides my grandma's fresh baked every morning before school, this is absolutely a 5 star bread company. Your sourdough actually tastes like sourdough! I can't wait to try more! Good job folks, and keep up the great work!!

Smell Amazing when entering, all the different Varieties of bread, rolls Pastries is just amazing. Would definitely start buying my bread here.
