Always a good date night place to be. Staff is great and rolls are always great! My recommendation is to get a Kandy Kane with extra lemon .
Food is fresh and excellent. Small eating area, but well worth the wait. Service is excellent.
Always fresh always packed. Try to go there for their low times bc you will almost certainly be waiting on a list, unless you're dining alone : For a small restaurant though their flavors and style will pack a punch in your taste buds. Really unique rolls and has a relaxed vibe there. I went when they first opened and I'm still going now. I look forward to a new menu, to seeing more creative rolls created. It's 2023 and I'd like to post an updated review. I was quit dissapointed with the sushi I ordered today. The flavors seemed to have changed quite a bit. I ordered 4 rolls and one roll took the whole time we were there to come out, I have no idea why. I have to say there is quite too much sauce on the sushi rolls now and their flavors don't balance as well as they use too. Each roll I ate had very overpowering ingredients that took away from the roll. Maybe it's a hit or miss, maybe today was a bad day. Sushi Q is always consistent in their rolls and flavors, I miss the simplicity of their rolls before. The flavors were well balanced and their was so much love in each roll. I declined eating at another sushi joint to come here and am so sad at what I received. The customer service was good, our server communicated with us often, we did have to ask for water and I did ask where our roll was. Dunno if I'll go again. I question their quality now and sort want to waste my money on something I won't enjoy.
A friend told me of this place 2 yrs ago and I've been putting it off until tonight. So very glad i stopped in and gave it a try, everything was great, friendly and helpful. My usual way to try a new Sushi place is to order Sake (Salmon nigiri) and that tells me whether or not its a good or bad sushi place, but tonight I wanted to try their signature roll (Sushi Q roll) except I ordered mine without the sriracha sauce as I'm a big wimp when it comes to spicy food. The roll was incredible with lots of bangin flavors, it just hit the spot, the 2nd roll (Elk Grove roll) was huge but lacked taste and they say it's their most popular roll. I'm not a roll guy I just need to try some rolls to bring the girlfriend out of her comfort zone of Wasabi's (Adel role) that's made perfect for her. I believe Sushi Q has a new roll for her, stay tuned. My fav is Chirashi and the chef claims theirs is the best so I have to go back and try it.
