Taqueria Jalisco - Sacramento

The food was tasty, the atmosphere was charming, and the service was outstanding.

I just moved back to Sacramento after 14 years overseas. In preparation for my return I searched around on Google Maps and starred the restaurants I wanted to visit. After settling into my new apartment in midtown, this was the first restaurant I tried. I had 2 carnitas and 1 pastor street tacos and a cup of rice and beans smothered in a gravy like pork sauce. Danny (from the photo) recommended some great guacamole sauce to accompany the tacos. Combined, it was a fantastic meal heaven on earth! There is a reason this was the first restaurant I visited…and I’ll be back again soon. Please note the restaurant often closes early…so plan ahead.

Loved the street tacos and crispy chicken tacos here! Friendly staff too. Definitely recommend it.

I decided to check this place out to get some good Mexican food in Sacramento. This place is a hit! I think it’s where locals go and they’re correct about this place! The food was super fresh and delicious. I’ve never had that fresh of salsa ever! I highly recommend this place if you want tacos and burritos!

The food at this restaurant is exceptional! The service is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. I would definitely recommend dining here.
