The whole crew friendly and efficient! Helge showed up and the passion just went up another level. Served fresh Elderberry juice picked and made by Helge himself from their special tree. Goat burgers showed up from the bun, to the all the condiments, halloumi and burgers all made in house. Delicious and devoured quickly by all of us. What’s important to take away from here are some of the following: 1. Amazing place to get to via boat or ferry 2. Attention to detail on all levels 3. Pride in what they produce and make 4. Enthusiastically sharing their passion 5. Customer service off the charts Been to all types of restaurants in Norway and stating with great confidence that the above combination is not often found at food establishments in Norway, sadly… Hands down great place and go there for an amazing overall experience.
I did some honey tasting and it was a wonderful experience. Helge the owner did a wonderful presentation and story about the different honey (which they have won awards for!! . The cinnamon buns and the bread are fresh and tasty. The apple juice was the best I have ever tried (don't miss on buying some . The food was excellent, I tried both the focaccia and the burgers, and i was pleasantly surprised by the standard. The atmosphere is cosy and harmonic. The view is breathtaking.
A nature reserve with a difference. The cafe on the island is a family run place with the food all having some connection to the goats there. A ferry drops off picks up from Oslo surrounding area.
Delicious food, professional staff, hospitable owner and perfect atmosphere
