We talked a lot about what led us and ourselves from America to Israel, and we got some custom smoothies. The smoothies were really good, but the highlight was Bella's positive energy and inclusiveness. When another Israeli came in, she asked the customer if she spoke English for our benefit, so that we could all talk to each other; and she ended up talking to all of us and talking to us as needed. TL;DR smoothies were great and Bella's empathy and energy will definitely inspire me to come back. Update: You are now serving delicious lentil soup and bread! Delicious and equal service! I had an amazing time in this beautiful local café in the heart of the Safed Old Town. The smoothis are super delicious and refreshing and the desserts are just the right amount sweet. Don't take me to the amazing reception. I strongly recommend stopping when in the area.
My friend and I were walking around Tzfat when Bella, a manager at 18karrots, noticed us speaking English and invited us in. We chatted about our journey from America to Israel and enjoyed some custom smoothies. The smoothies were fantastic, but the highlight was Bella's positive energy and inclusivity. When another Israeli customer came in, she made sure to include us in the conversation by asking if they spoke English. Bella's empathy and energy have definitely made me want to return. Update: They now serve delicious lentil soup and bread! Delicious food and the same amazing service. (Review updated on 2021-09-30)
I had a wonderful experience at this charming local café located in the heart of the old town of Safed. The smoothies are delicious and refreshing, and the desserts are perfectly sweet. The welcoming service was exceptional. I highly recommend making a stop at this café.
We arrived at the restaurant a little late, but we were still warmly welcomed. We tried the soup and some vegan desserts, which were quite delicious. The highlight of our experience was the wonderful woman working there. She greeted us warmly, welcomed us to Israel, and exuded happiness, friendliness, energy, and overall amazingness. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!
