After our drinks arrived, the appetizers came shortly after. However, we waited 1 1/2 hours for the most important courses, one of which had to be sent back because the well-made burger was rare. The host tried his best to help, but the waiter never apologized or checked with us. We didn't want to wait for the burger we said would be more than a few minutes, so divided one of the dishes. We visited the restaurant outside the season and maybe the kitchen was just understated, but I won't be back soon.
I have owned a home in East Hampton for 26 years and last weekend was my first dinner at Bell and Anchor. The food and service were next level. Really enjoyed it and will be back soon.
The food at Bell and Anchor is always good, but we especially love the $1.00 oysters on Sunday. My fluke special was amazing. My only negative about this place is that it tends to be very noisy, but the staff and food is stellar.
Food was fine but $14-15 for small drinks with ice, $3.50 for a glass of soda water , mostly ice, and $16 x2 per glass of red wine not even filled half way up the wine glass was insulting.
Way too noisy, understaffed, long waits except being seated.
