Since most of the staff spoke Spanish, we had someone who spoke English help us with our orders. They recommended the Peruvian drink Chicha Morada, which we loved and ordered. For starters, we tried Tamales and Choros a la chalaca (Mussels). The tamales were cooked perfectly, and even though it was our first time trying mussels, we enjoyed them, they get all the taste from toppings of onion, tomato, and lemon. Not easy for first timers to savor the raw taste and look of mussels. After seeing good reviews, we decided to try the Ceviche De Pescado. It turned out to be marinated seafood, not cooked, but surprisingly, we enjoyed its unique citrusy flavor. It was well-prepared, and we were glad we tried something new that didn't disappoint. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend trying Peruvian specialties.
It would be four stars, but the prices are higher than most food trucks.
