The food is excellent, and the service is fantastic. However, the atmosphere could use some improvement. It seems they offer some nighttime entertainment, but other than that, I have no complaints. I visited primarily for the food, and if that’s what you’re seeking, it’s outstanding! The cuisine is inspired by the Incas of Peru.
For our appetizers, we tried Tamales and Choros a la Chalaca (mussels). The tamales were cooked to perfection, and even though it was our first experience with mussels, we really enjoyed them. The mussels were enhanced by toppings of onion, tomato, and lemon, which helped us appreciate their flavor despite being newcomers to the dish. After reading positive reviews, we also decided to try the Ceviche De Pescado. It turned out to be marinated seafood rather than cooked, but to our surprise, we loved its unique, citrusy flavor. It was well-prepared, and we were pleased to have ventured out of our comfort zone with a dish that didn’t disappoint. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend trying the Peruvian specialties.
It would deserve four stars, but the prices are higher than those at most food trucks.
