On Thursday, Oct. 26th, my husband and I wanted to celebrate our 8 year Wedding Anniversary at Tuckers on 12th street. Everything was going great until my steak came, and after the first bite, I noticed it was burned and very dry. When complaining to the waiter, he explained the no take back or redue policy, but I could still talk to the manager. Which I did, she was very nice. I informed her i ordered a Filet mignon, butterflied, well done, and it was burned and dry. She informed me how I should have odred it, but there was nothing she could do. I was upset but just went on trying to enjoy the evening. We paid our bill, left a generous tip, and as we were leaving, we noticed there was a police officer waiting at the door?? I guess management was trained to assume that if African Americans complain about anything, expect the worst, and call the police?? They don't know the God I serve. We may need to bring our lawyer next time we visit?? Happy Anniversary to us.
They say first impressions are everything, well I'm impressed
We was looking for a nice place to go out to and we found ourselves at Tuckers (this was recommended by someone). I'll start off by saying the potatoes were exceptional. So soft and just the right amount of everything to taste right. 5/6 people got steak, one got salmon. I don't think anyone was actually satisfied with their steak, most came out medium well, one was sent back. There was no flavor on the steaks besides like a burnt BBQ taste(idk maybe it's an STL thing) The salad was good, the raviolis were soooo good. The service was good the waitress was friendly.
Nice evening, food good helpful waitress...then they wouldn't accept my gift card.. smh
