Coq Rapide - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

I hate writing BAD reviews but I feel obligated to tell others to avoid "Bad Benny" at this location. This is a modern restaurant, looks great on the outside - fantastic décor inside - super washroom décor - BUT - the food is terrible. Please help me understand why they have a mouth watering picture of an Avocado salad on their menu, with perfectly sliced pieces of chicken and then serve it with limp lettuce and shredded chicken that was cold to the touch. The chicken had the look of pulled pork - not nice at all.I didn't have the courage to send it back - I should have.And please explain to me, and others, why a restaurant that specializes in chicken can't serve a plump, juicy and succulent one - instead of dry and cardboard-tasting?And one more point - why are the prices so damn high? Lower your prices - motivate people to come into your place - increase sales and you'll increase profits. The place was empty at lunch hour - no wonder - people don't want to spend $45.94 for lunch. I did because I was an idiot and should have walked out - my bad - BUT Benny - it was your BAD that will keep me away from any Benny restaurants.George

I went there with a friend for lunch prior to going to Montreal for the day. I had the chicken fajitas, fries and a side of coleslaw. We sat in the bar side and I found the bench seat forced me to squeeze in behind the table even though I am only average waist size of 38". I was disappointed with the fajitas as there was one fajita wrap cut into 2 halves and the contents were already inside the wrap. A substantial portion of the chicken was on the plate and required a fork to eat since there weren't any additional wraps. My friend had a quarter chicken meal and enjoyed it.

Je suis fan de ce resto depuis toujours, ayant passé ma jeunesse a st-jean, je n'y manque pas a chacune de mes visites, en plus il on rénové, la nourriture et le service toujours impeccable.

Je suis un bon client du service à la livraison de ce restaurant qui est irréprochable à tout coup! J'ai supposé pour un dîner d'affaires ce serait un bon endroit! Oufff... La nourriture étaient bonne mais le service très pénible jusqu'à dire horrible! Serveuse très pressée de terminer son temps de travail... J'ai dû payer avant la fin du repas puisqu'elle voulait partir plus vite! La seconde a échappée à plusieurs reprise du café sur la table en s'enlignant avec la tasse tout en nous tutoyant... Plus tôt décevant

Employer courtois et meilleur poulet en ville , j adore aller sur place comme sur la livraison on est toujours tres bien servi on se sent en famille
