But 3 things today have made this opinion very different: 1 serving for the price is exaggerated. (5 pieces for Reshmi Kabababababab, if the price is $11? 2 We have placed a To-Go order. We arrived 30 minutes later, to which we found they had forgotten to submit our order. Sure they were busy. Just 10 minutes later, our food was ready... 3 which brings me to #3. Who in their right mind thinks that for $41 total for 3 dishes the quality and taste of food is decided so bland that I am sure that anyone in even Dierbergs (dare-I-say Walmart could whip better than this? Change my mind. Because take at $41 dinner, I think you have something to explain. Ani's Hyderabad House and Mayuri's are far superior.
Great food. I ordered Biryani, Naan, Samosa and Channa Masala... Food tasted as close as possible to cook at home. I cook at home and with a kitchen reconstruction project went a desire for Indian food and the place did not disappoint me. Since then we have been a regular customer. Maybe this place is not your romantic date nite go-to goal, but if you want good food, I will recommend.
The atmosphere is not great, but the food is good. The tables are small, and the separation between kitchen and dining room is very strange. However, the food has a good spice level and has good aromas. My only complaint about the food was that it seems that the chicken was cooked separately and then simply added instead of seasoned and cooked in the sauce.
Taj Mahal is a wonderful hidden gem that I like to visit on the loop. There are only some of the best Indian food in the city and it does not break the bank. I went once a week when I lived closer and always tried to find an apology to come in the area so I can have it again. I tried a number of different articles on the menu and was always so satisfied. All the staff are so friendly, attentive and welcoming! Recommend this place to all I can!!!
It's all about the great food. Delicious and perfectly seasoned authentic Indian cuisine. Cloth napkins, table cloths, clean buffet area, real plates to eat off of and kind staff.
