Village Tavern - Salem

We came to the village tavern during our visit to Salem and chose the Village Tavern for the very specific reason that they cater to food allergies so well. Our daughter who is allergic to peanuts eggs and dairy was able to have the most delicious burger and fries because of their dedication to Food allergies and their separate fryers to maintain the safety of their guests with celiac disease. The chef was so wonderful and so was our server, Jessica. She went out of her way to make sure our daughter was safe and her food came out perfect. She was wonderful to us and we can’t thank her enough from the bottom of our hearts for her care and concern while waiting on our table. The food was excellent, with some of the best burgers we have ever tasted we will definitely be back!!!

This was my first time at this restaurant with my sister in law and we really enjoyed ourselves! The live music was wonderful and relaxing, the drinks were delicious the food was amazing TRY THEIR TRUFFLE FRIES AND GARLIC BURGER !!

I loved the ambience! The bowl of chili was exactly what I needed on a chilly, rainy day. Would absolutely visit again!
