I had an amazing breakfast at this restaurant. The drinks were impressive and I was especially impressed with the person dedicated to making them. The food was perfect - high quality, delicious, and all at a great price. I will definitely be coming back!
I must say that the vegetarian breakfast at this restaurant was very delicious. The addition of smashed avocado on the toast with a fried egg was a nice touch. I was impressed that the fried egg had a runny yolk, which made me very happy. The toast seemed to vary in how well it was cooked, but we were able to swap so that each of us got what we preferred. The only downside was that the price of the breakfast no longer includes a hot drink and has increased, making it a bit more expensive than expected for a supermarket cafe. However, the food was delicious so I can't complain. The table was a bit sticky, but it was during school holidays so they were quite busy.
I went to morrisons today for there gluten-free breakfast. They had one card saying the price £5.94 they had another card saying £5.96 i was actually charged £5.99 because they have no button for gluten-free breakfast so they used the full breakfast button. So when it arrived what did I get, a full breakfast. The staff need training on what gluten-free and what's not.
My colleague and I ordered a breakfast with chips very early on around 07:30 The cafe was empty apart from us yet they forgot to send out the chips. The food was ok but seemed to lack taste, although very well presented. The staff were apologetic about forgetting our sides of chips, but no recompense considering we had eaten 80 percent of the main meal before we went chasing them up. An apology with a coffee top up would have been excellent customer service as opposed to oh sorry we forgot.
