Our favorite restaurant! Was still good but only note is that the risotto wasn’t fully cooked this time and didn’t taste any lemon so it was better in the past. Still a great meal and wonderful drinks!!!
It was our first visit to Capri and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Enjoyed everything from the eggplant rollatini and gnocchi appetizers to the Veal Francaise entree. Our waiter was wonderful. She managed to be attentive while not being intrusive. She had a bubbly personality and was always smiling. Definitely a place we will be returning to in the future.
Unfortunately, we went on a night when a concert was playing across the street. But one would think the restaurant would be used to that as they happen every weekend. So it was busy. I eat gluten-free and was very impressed with their options when i looked at the menu online. However and unfortunately for me , their GF pasta is horrible. My original dish was $30 and when it arrived it was like paste. It had no taste and the pasta was mush and they put way too much cornstarch in the sauce. I then ordered a different dish which was less money) and that was disappointing as well. However i ate the chicken which was on top and just left the pasta . The waitress was extremely apologetic and my original dish was taken Off the bill. I feel the manager waitress tried to rebound from my disappointment with the kitchen. The only saving grace with my night at Capris would be their drinks!
I’ve been twice and the pasta has been way over cooked and mushy (both times)
