My dish had rice, vegetables and a chicken substitute with onions. The sauce over and it was delicious. Sit down and clean your own dishes. I loved it. I wish more restaurants would have done that.
Yum,Yum,Yum! I hope to eat back there soon. Sweet people who served us. I had the golden noodle pho with additional vegetables, so good! My brother had the curry rice. Of course we shared ourselves! We also had spring rolls. We went home with two sandwiches. Vegan restaurants are hard to come in my neighborhood. I look forward to tasting the other dishes.
All Chay, I can't give you up. They are all delicious, all vegan, all Vietnamese. They are POC-owned and LGBT-friendly. They are started by a refugee family with a dream to bring Veg Viet kitchen to Utah. I love your pho, your noodle salad and your Thai iced tea. I love you being in Rose Park, one of the most lively neighborhoods in Salt Lake. And I love your staff. Especially Trung, one of the owners. He is incredibly friendly and helpful and proud of his restaurant. I urge you to find a better Vietnamese place in Salt Lake, vegan or not.
This place is just a short walk from home and we love it here! The staff is always so nice and friendly and the food is always so good! Definitely worth a try, though! The meat substitutes are delicious and you would never know the difference.
So nice to go to a place where I didn't have to worry if there was meat in anything. All Chay had an incredibly calming atmosphere with calm music playing. The staff was very accommodating, the food was prepared quickly, and it was tasty. I got the BBQ noodles and my friend got the pho. We liked both dishes. It wasn't busy the whole time we were there. Overall a great experience. If you want Vietnamese food and are vegan/vegetarian (or even not, it's good regardless) this is a great place to go.
