Carson Kitchen - Salt Lake City

Our overall experience was underwhelming. Long wait times for the server and to get our food. The waitress forgot our drinks. The first three items we ordered off the menu she said were no longer available. The food was just ok, nothing special. It was so noisy it was hard to talk. I would not go back or recommend this place to friends.

Mediocre at best. The best thing about the experience was our server but the server can only be so good when serving drinks that take too long and food that comes out disjointedly. For instance, my husband's main course arrived before the starter. The starter arrived after my husbands main course was already consumed. This burger also had a piece of paper cooked in to it think the paper that separates sliced cheese. And no recognition of the awkward arrival of food. Just “the kitchen is crazy”. Our bill was around $125 for a mediocre experience. We will not be back.

All the food was good we tried a few things: deviled eggs, Mexican polenta, chicken thighs, Mac cheese. Would have liked to try dessert but we were too full!

Great drinks, so flavorful! Excellent food. Fun sitting at the chef's counter!

The server and staff were great, a little noisy had to have a conversation without raising voice, and when everyone else was doing the same thing, it was a little loud. The short rib steak was absolutely wonderful. The meatloaf was good as well. Our wives enjoyed the sangria. Overall, a good guest dining experoence
