Our server was so sweet and the gentleman behind the bar came to check in to see if everything tasted good. The food and drinks were really good! We ordered the calamari definitely ask for extra side sauce. It was yummy! We got the empanadas and they came 2 to an order. We split the burger. It had plantains on it and we added an egg. It was delicious. We also had the salmon sashimi with plantains. I could've done without the plantains but the sashimi was done so well with just the right spice. We also ordered some drinks from their happy hour menu. The pisco sour is a safe bet and always one of my favorites. The pisco punch is very tart. I didn't mind it but expected it to be more fruity. We also got a vodka martini with olives, which was strong but went down smooth. Everything we had was great and service was fantastic so we'll definitely be back.
This restaurant is friendly and have Happy Hours menu with variety of selection from oysters, ceviche to burgers and fries. Definitely family and friends oriented, we love coming here on Friday nights. They have outdoor seating and comfort indoors setup. My son particularly love their Salmon Tacu Tacu, which has tons of seafood and toppings.
Came on a Saturday night and there was no wait. We got the ceviche mixto, lomo saltado, and chicharron de pollo. The portions were a good size. The ceviche was fresh and the sauce was just the right amount of tangy. The plantain chips were also tasty and fried really well. The lomo saltado had good flavor, however the steak was dry and tough. The rice and fries really soaked up the flavor of the sauce. The fried chicken was seasoned perfectly, however the meat was also really dry. The dishes were on the pricey side, however every dish had amazing flavor.
Fresca offers upscale dining with delicious Peruvian food that's perfect for a birthday or special occasion. The inside is gorgeous, with brightly colored walls and decorated with murals and paintings. They have seating options for both small groups of two and larger tables. The menu is drool worthy I haven't tried much Peruvian food before and wanted to try everything on the menu! I settled for sharing plantain chips and chicharrones for appetizers, and the seared salmon dish for the main. The plantain chips were really addicting and great for snacking. I was a little misled by the chicharrones I thought it was going to be roasted chicken with crispy skin, but it ended up being fried chicken. I would probably not order that one again. But the salmon dish was so yummy! It came with rice and beans as well as oysters, scallops, shrimp. It was quite large and filling, and I'm glad I chose to split it with my friend. Finally, because it was my friend birthday, the waitress brought out a flan at the end! It was gorgeously plated and had a strong vanilla flavor that I loved. I would absolutely come here again to try more of the menu! It is on the pricier side so I would only come for a special occasion.
BEST octopus. If you don't like octopus, try this and it will change your mind. Perfectly charred, with delicious sauces and potatoes. It's grilled just the right amount; the octopus is tender, not chewy. I always get the paella with some ceviche and the sangria is so worth getting the pitcher. We got so full on appetizers we barely touched the paella but they'll happily give you a box bag for your to gos. The servers are charming and check in often to see if the food is good and if you need anything. They change plates for you when needed. Inside is cute and they have a bar area to grab a drink if you're waiting for your table. Highly recommend this great Peruvian food!! They also have a sister restaurant in Pacifica, Puerto 27 that has great food, service and an ocean view.
