Despite almost no one there on a Tues rainy night, our very lost missing but sweet 20-something young Girl server could not be found much, seemed very distracted by things not related to working, seemed to be running around chatting with co-workers, forgot to order one of our pizzas with the pepperoni requested, didn’t watch our table. We needed to ask any worker we could find for silverware napkins a FEW times, then our bill so we could get the heck out. Service HORRIBLE at this location, things were better a few years ago at the totally dead Irving Street location. Will they survive?
Amazing food with outstanding vegan options. Very long wait to get served though
This restaurant is a disappointment compared to the better location in Hayes Valley. The staff took approximately 15 minutes to even greet us and take our drink order. The deep dish pizza crust was undercooked. The restaurant was empty, so there was plenty of time to get things right. It seems like they didn't even try, unfortunately.
We saw a mouse during dinner, which ruined the entire experience for me.
The patxis in the marina has always had a strange curse of bad service. The pizzas always take a long time to come out. An hour plus if the retaurant is busy (which it rarely is). Or in my case, my large pepperoni and cheese took a full hour and 15 in a conpletley empty restaurant. My 14 year old daughter even knows that this particular retaurant always has bad service. The wait staff are nice but always seem to be in a mild panic about something and are not trained in a customer first mentality. When I had a problem with my order my server was quick to say that it was not his fault and that I read the menu wrong vs jumping to help solve the problem. Overall I have always enjoyed their thin crust pizza but I am treating my last visit as my family's last supper there and will never order or visit a Patxis again. Ten times bitten now shy.
