The atmosphere was family friendly, spacious seating and for the lone soldiers (myself and one other random gentleman had front row seating at the bar with big screen TV's (set to just the right volume too-awesome!? and while waiting, I threw back a cerveza while my huevos rancheros. (I only wish that they served tequila too-bummer? The takeout containers are amazeballs. My food looked so good that unfortunately there wasn't any time for a picture before my intense grub session. This place is fire y'all. It's a keeper!
Brought my dad for his bday, waitress was really nice and the food was ok. we got a carne mix molcajete but not worth the $45. it was 2 pieces or queso asado, 2 piece of nopales, 2 piece of chorizo but the carne asada and chicken were chopped up in very small pieces. it looked like it was the meat used for tacos. chicken and meat should have been bigger pieces and it looked like it was mixed in a greasy water sauce. i got the porriadillo, it was more egg in sauce and hardly any carne seca and the carne that it had was chopped up in small pieces. i had to send back my horchata too, it tasted like sweet water. the waitress said I'll fix it, i had 2 other complaints today and now you so there's something wrong with the water. Really, you should have tried it and fixed it after the first complaint. It was ok but no worth the $100+ we spend, i wouldn't go back
I had a michelada and an enchilada michoacanas, and all I can say is that I left with a tight waistband, a doggy bag, and a plan to come back later to try their mole dish.... Also regret that I didn't grab some horchata to go.The servers were very attentive, ready to refill my drink as soon as the empty glass hit the table.I do recommend bringing a cash tip. I didn't get an opportunity to add it to the transaction while paying with card, and I wouldn't sleep well at night if I wasn't able to tip at a place where I ate so dang well.Pro-tip: bring comfy pants.
I took my mom, sister and girlfriend to dinner and it was ok. My burrito was really good, got a al pastor burrito but the steak on my girlfriend and mom's plate was dry and the shrimp was kinda warm by the time they got their plates, which for the price... could have been better. The music was way too loud for no reason and the service was ok.
This is my favorite restaurant. The food is always so tasty! ? I don't speak Spanish yet the waitresses r very patient with me. I've tried the mole, green enchiladas and the morisqueta. They're all DELICIOUS! I've been there four times this month and shall return. Yummy!Food: 5/5
