Party of 3. Had two different kinds of wraps lamb and spiced hamburger which were tasty along with mango smoothie (delicious! . Adding combo with spiced potato wedges was ok; should add smoothie combo! Lentil soup started bland but with garlic yogurt spice added was good. Also had baba ganoush which tasted good but Pita bread was overly toasted; should probably ask how customer would like their bread. Had cheese and hamburger special bread (basically a small pizza which also was good. Water was self serve, and while we had menus, went up to cashier to order. The restaurant is just two blocks from SHN theater and while not as fancy ambiance (it is in the tenderloin as some other restaurants pretty much had the place to ourselves on a Thursday night before show. Owners husband and wife (the cook I think were very nice and we thought food was good for everyday dining.

Party of Il y avait deux types différents de wraps d'agneau et de hamburger épicé qui étaient savoureux avec un smoothie à la mangue délicieux!. Ajouter un combo avec des quartiers de pommes de terre épicés était correct; devrait ajouter un combo smoothie! La soupe aux lentilles a commencé fade, mais avec du yogourt à l'ail, des épices étaient bonnes. Il y avait aussi du baba ganoush qui avait bon goût mais le pain pita était trop grillé; devrait probablement demander comment le client aimerait son pain. Il y avait du pain spécial au fromage et au hamburger en gros une petite pizza qui était également bonne. L'eau était libre-service, et pendant que nous avions des menus, nous sommes allés à la caisse pour commander. Le restaurant est à seulement deux pâtés de maisons du théâtre SHN et, bien que pas aussi chic que l'ambiance, il est dans le filet, car certains autres restaurants avaient à peu près la place pour nous un jeudi soir avant le spectacle. Le mari et la femme des propriétaires, le cuisinier, étaient très gentils et nous pensions que la nourriture était bonne pour les repas de tous les jours

Wonderful experience the owner took personal care of me and my date and made me look really good. He treated us like we had been going there for years. He answered 100 questions my date had about the spices used in everything we ordered the coffee and juice drinks are a must have and all the food is cooked to perfection I highly recommend this place to anyone that lives or visits San Francisco.

One of my new favorite spots. I tired their lamb shank platter with soup and it was EXCELLENT. Really hit the spot. Generous portions of everything and everything cooked just right. Excellent dessert too (rice pudding and basbousa). Super-pleasant and welcoming customer service. Pleasant atmosphere. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

The food was familiar but different, with menu names that I recognized and seasonings that I did not. The owner couldn't have been a nicer guy, either. He heightened our experience with his recommendations, his attentiveness, and his good humor.
