We had a delicious pizza over an intimate dinner with delicious cocktails and dessert for New Year's Eve and I'm so glad we did. I can't wait to go back and take REALLY splurge as well as some time to enjoy their backroom bar. In the past, I brought friends here for a cigar and they really enjoyed the experience. Interior and exterior seats are both great. Chef came to check us, customer service was great. Very recommended.
From this place many times passed, so decided to give them an attempt on a Friday night. It was early, so only 2 of the about 8 tables were occupied inside. Service was immediately and very friendly. Since it was my first time here, the server explained its menu and features. Started with the queso fundido and a few drinks. The drinks were good, but the Fundido was the hit. It was perfect for sharing and was not difficult at all. It was good, so ordered another, but cannot remember the name. It was a salsa verde, with a soft cheese, on top with Cilantro, and served with small tortillas on the side. Surprisingly, this was even better than the queso fundido. The combination of salsa verde and soft cheese in the tortilla was perfect. Finally, the baked bride, who was just as good. Can't go wrong with one of the chic cheese appetizers. For the meal they ordered their new pizza, the Los Cuates and another pizza from the menu. I was a little hesitant about the Los Cuates as it has to do with a pastor and pineapple. However, was pleasantly surprised when the al pastor was very tasty and the pineapple was not too sweet. Both pizzas were perfectly cooked in the oven and wood fire. They were thin and had a nice crispy car on the crust. For dessert, the flan and dessert had pizza that was shell and strawberry. Enoyed the flan as it had a smooth, creamy texture that was not excessively sweet. The dessert pizza was a little too sweet for my pleasure, but wasn't bad. Overall, this was a nice restaurant with a really nice ambience. Good food and service. Will try to come back next time they have live music.
Great location in Southtown, just outside Cesar Chavez, and close to public parking. Come to Southtown and meet this place safely. Great salads, wine selection and their wood stove pizza are amazing. It's about the dough, baby. The last time I was here, I had an old fashion. The staff is friendly and the interior is elegant and modern. Great playlist and a must for eating alone or with a group of friends. You will not find this jewel on Open Table because they do not take reservations. Come early and go straight in and then do your own pub / dessert crawl. La Foccacia on the street has fantastic carrot cake and Rosario has chocolate flan. Being here is not about haste; it is about enjoying the experience of food smells, mouth feeling and visual appeal.
Brisket and pepperoni and mushroom. Paloma drink, cucumber margarita, strawberries infused rum shots. Ask Carlos, he's very good! We'll be back.
Definitely I’ll be back !! I just loved it ! The service, the menu, pizzas are delicious we got veggies one and cheeses Chico it was dope!
