Taqueria Hacienda Tapatia - San Antonio

The service and value were excellent! The food was good, even better than I anticipated for the price. While I wasn't completely amazed, I would definitely return.

My partner and I visited Taqueria Hacienda Tapatia for a meal. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. We frequently dine at Mexican restaurants, but this one did not meet our expectations. We started with micheladas for drinks, which were good, as well as chips and salsa. However, after that, the quality declined. I ordered a quesadilla with grilled steak and peppers, but it was so oily that it was difficult to eat. Even after trying to blot the oil with napkins, it remained greasy. My partner ordered a mixed fajita plate (beef, chicken, and shrimp), but it was also excessively oily and lacked shrimp. The Charro beans served with the fajitas were decent, but overall the meal was bland and oily. This was our first visit to the restaurant and we do not plan on returning.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent at this restaurant. I have been dining here frequently for the past two years and have never given a rating before because sometimes the quality of the food and service can vary. However, Taqueria Hacienda has remained consistent, even during the COVID pandemic. The restaurant has expanded and hired new employees, but the service has remained top-notch, earning them a solid five-star rating.

In the car thru ordered. it took a while, but it was worth it. my man loved his bean and cheese tacos. my barbacoa taco with avocado was delicious! ham and ei taco. yummy. tortillas were perfect, delicious green salsa. this will be our new place for tacos

Hands down, one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Alamo city. I eat here often and have yet to have anything that I didn't enjoy. The staff is awesome as well. Service is fast. Prices are fair and it is very clean
