Everybody is incredibly knowledgeable about each bean, knowing which bean best suits which drink. Had a few coffees made there while in town and took a few beans to try at home. All amazing! Wish we had one of these in St. Louis! Also, the arcade room looks like a blast. Was also impressed by the variety of coffee equipment they offered. If there was any weakness, it was that their tea selection was only great, not mind-blowing like the coffee. Even so, the barista definitely knew her teas! 5 of 5 would visit again.
This place has the best coffee ever! I also love that the staff is passionate about coffee. You can tell by their customer service! Excellent! Thank you a bunch !
It's the only roaster for coffee in San Antonio and the quality of the coffee operations is excellent. I went for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. I think it's a good local place to get coffee if you are not a fan of the larger chains of coffee like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. I love that it's a local establishment tailoring the coffee to the flavors of San Antonio residents.
Just moved to town from Fairbanks, AK where there's basically a coffee stand every 5 feet. I needed my daily coffee fix (despite being insanely hot), but everywhere I tried had subpar burnt beans (you know who you are, Starbucks). I tried a couple roasts from what's brewing and I'm happy to report its some of the best coffee I've ever had..and I've lived in Guatemala, Turkey, and the UK.. All places where you can get a quality cuppa.. Will continue to try all of their delicious roasts! Very impressed with this place!
My first taste of What’s Brewing was in the 90s when I worked at Java Joe’s. This was back when the location was in Lincoln Heights area. It was the best then and still is!! Thank you. I went in today and had a delicious blast! Love the pin ball games.
