The pizza was terrible, bland tastes crust, hardly any topping or tomato base.. the roast chicken was nice though. Disappointed.
This restaurant is located on the promenada of Plaja del Ingles, next to the dunes starting area. After a long walk on the dunes, we stopped here just for a drink and some appetizers (padrons and grilled cheese). The waiters here are so welcoming and friendly! It was crowded when we arrived, but they arranged for a us a table in the smoking area. They told us nice jokes and made us smile all the time. The service is super fast. Due to the nice time spent here, we decided to return for dinner and we were surprised to eat a very good and exactly done beef steak, some juicy and delicius pork ribbs and a special garlic soup which we liked a lot. We recommend the place.
Just been to have a meal in this restaurant. As we had heard so many good reviews we decided to have 'The menu of the Day '. In fact the meals were pretty good considering the cost. However the let down was one of the waiters, not a very pleasant chap and as it was getting busy ,we decided to ask for tye bipp as then a table would be freeded up. No bill, asked for it again,no joy.Got the person in charge of getting customers to go into the restaurant by mimicing I need the bill across the restaurant. Bill then delivered, wanted to pay by card so 5 mins later, machine was slammed ontothe table by misery guts. Swiped card, misery off to attend to other matters. Eventually had to take machine to person in charge to finish off transaction. Shame rant over
If you go here pick from the 'menu del dia ', excellent value. We had 2 x gamba al ahillo, one fish with potatoes, a hawaiian pizza and 2 x coffee for 19 euros. Great quality and good service. Would not recommend the sangria though, not great.
We’ve been visiting Gran Canaria for many years and this year we discovered this restaurant. Columbus is definitely a place worth visiting. The best paella in town without a doubt and the sole and tuna steaks are definitely worth a try as well. Staff really polite and friendly as well! Do visit if you’re looking for good food and good service. A
