We had passed nothing but rocks and sand for ages so I didn't think we'd have any options but luckily Casa Ortega popped up on the map. The restaurant was nearly empty and just one man seemed to be operating as waiter, bartender, and chef but our food was delivered promptly and everything was delicious. Their air conditioning also works very well which we all appreciated. I'd definitely return if I found myself in the area again. It's a delightful oasis in the desert. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for those who don't eat meat Kid-friendliness: Kids loved it! Parking: Big empty parking lot
Local place. Try the seafood molcajete, the mole and have Jesus make you a margarita. Service may not be instant, but this is the best place around.
Fine if you are in the area, not worth a trip. Went there for my daughter's birthday yesterday, they had 1 waiter for the whole restaurant which wasn't so much of an issue due to it being pretty slow, and he was great, very friendly, he is the only reason this isn't lower than 3 stars. I tried to order guacamole, which he stated they didn't have any but they had avocados, so apparently they can't make fresh guacamole? The salsa was ok, the chips tasted like the oil they were fried in hadn't been changed in 2 weeks, the food was heavily salted. I ordered fajitas which were fine but nothing special. Overall there are many other places in the area that I would go to before coming back, but it's not awful that I would tell people to stay away. Parking: Plenty of parking
