Still one of the best fish tacos in the world even if they dumbed down their menu. Great ambience at this particular one because you can scarf down your food while looking out over Ocean Beach. I'll always miss the variation of marinades and won't ever understand why I can't have a swordfish or jumbo scallop now, but... still worth a stop regardless. Also, where did the catch of the day options go?!
Fresh seafood for sure. Location is very nice. You order first, and pick your own seat, then the food will be delivered. We like the cioppino, which is delicious. Fish tack is also great. Will come back next time!
Amazing lunch today. The halibut was cooked perfectly, and while not a cheap dish, considering how expensive this fish is elsewhere I felt like it was a great value. It was also a big portion. Drinks were also tasty. My friend got the shrimp tacos and said they were top notch as well. Service at the bar was excellent (Thanks Rose). Overall I was extremely happy, and considering how overrated, overpriced, and underwhelming the San Diego seafood market tends to be, this is one of my new favorite oceanfront restaurants in the city. Highly recommend.
This is some of the best seafood I've every had. Calamari (not pictured) was perfectly fried and the tartar sauce was amazing as well. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Mahi mahi fish tacos were ??? and the Buffalo Cod sandwich... Ahhhhmazing. Sat in the outdoor area and watched the insane rain storm SD was experiencing. Outdoor heaters were nice considering the cooler than normal temps. Went on Taco Tuesday so got a great deal on the taco's.
