Marinos Italian - San Diego

Genuinely heartbroken this restaurant is closed. my boyfriend and i have been together for 10 years and have celebrated every anniversary here and even had prom dinner here. really hoping to find out this establishment is renovating/in the works to come back. if not, to the owners and food, we will miss you!!

I love Marino's pizza it's my all time favorite! Please tell me the rumors aren't true. Are they closing permanently or just for renovations?

My family has been coming here for 40 years! So glad we had the chance to go tonight. Service was excellent. The food was excellent. The salad was tasty pizza was delicious and veggie lasagna. ... Just YUMM. Thank you Mark

An absolute San Diego institution. I've just heard that Marino's is closing and I'm really going to miss this place. I'd have to guess I ate there 100+ times, we were always greeted with a smile, and we never had a bad meal. It always felt like visiting someone's home. Thank you to Mrs. Murino, Mark and Kristin, all the great staff, and to the the piano player who used to fall asleep mid-song. You all will be missed.
