Convenient parking is available right in front of the restaurant. The outdoor seating is comfortable and the San Diego weather is usually pleasant. It is a popular spot among locals and highly recommended for those who enjoy Mediterranean cuisine.
If you’ve been to Greece, this is how you remember it. Such a cute little restaurant, with covered heated patio seating so you can enjoy the weather regardless of season! The service was friendly and quick and the food was incredible. I had the gyro/chicken kabob plate which came with rice, pita, tzatziki, and Greek salad with a half feta block on top! . You know it’s legit when they give you a feta block . Everything was super flavorful and my friend and I both left happy and with enough left over for another meal! . Pricing was very reasonable $15.5 for my plate . Would definitely recommend for date night or a dinner out with friends/family!
I am usually quick to give a place 5 stars if everything was good, but this place truly deserves 5 stars and more. My partner and I were expecting a cheap, order-at-the-counter type of place, but we ended up having a very romantic dinner at a very reasonable price. The food was excellent: spanakopita, gyro, lamb shank, and baklava. The restaurant has a fantastic, small rustic vibe, and the staff was extremely friendly. I will definitely return here in the future. My partner and I have already agreed that we enjoyed this more than our usual (and much more expensive) date night restaurant. In short: Eat here!
I have been a customer of this restaurant even before they moved to the new location. It's a family run business and they take pride in their business and it shows. The food is fresh, tasty and the desserts are made there. I get numerous items on their menu depending on what I'm hungry for. It's all good including the service.
I was in the mood for roasted half chicken and chose Mediterranean cuisine as my option. I found this place nearby with outdoor seating (pet-friendly) and a parking lot. It met all my criteria for the day, as I could bring my chihuahua along. I ordered the 1/2 Greek style chicken ($15) and the House Specialty Greek style chicken ($15), which were essentially the same except for the side options. I chose the former with rice. Additionally, I ordered dolmadakia ($8), hummus ($7) with pita, and a chicken and beef kabob combo with added lamb. Each dish was generously portioned, and the chicken was particularly moist and delicious. The dolmadakia was truly one of the best I've had, especially when paired with the lemon juice.
