Guilin Rice Noodle - San Gabriel

This place used to be good, but the quality has gone down so much. The broth is so plain, so watery. It was such a disappointment and I will not return.

I don't know why they only have 2 1/2 stars on Yelp. I had (always) have great experiences when I visit with my friend. Their Mala Beef noodle soup is my must order dish every time I visit. Full of flavor and juicy beef! The lady works In the front are so welcomed and nice

I came here this Saturday 2/18) evening to try it out cuz I passed by here a lot lol and I always wondered why lots of people dine in here, is the food that delicious, I must try it. Seeing how low their reviews 2 1/2 stars are, I don't think is that bad. I ordered the ultimate noodles with takoyaki octopus balls) and hot lemon tea. The noodles was really greasy but it was still good, I think their secret sauce is the hot chili oil. When the cashier asked me how spicy I wanted it, I thought the spicy sauce comes with the noodles not charged me $1.50 lol. It has a lot of meats but it looks like leftovers pieces, I also think is greasy cuz of the beacons and pork fat. The takoyaki octopus balls was alright, they forgot the mayonnaise which is part of the flavoring, that's why they got a 4/5 stars. It looks under cooked and there was only 1 pieces of octopus , it was burnt also. The lemon tea is good, not too sweet. This restaurant is easy to find, is right on the corner of the plaza next to the message place. Plenty of parking. The dine in has 8 seatings like couples booths. I think is good for dates and couples or by yourself lol not good for kids if they start misbehaving lol. The waitress is nice, she takes your orders and bring out your food, normally waitress ask how you're doing, she doesn't lol. I would recommend it and I would come back to try their soup noodles next time after my massage lol

Not to mention their noodle is not tasty, the environment is very dirty and unhygienic overall. You can see the food trash is all over the floor and on the chair. I don't feel well after eating their noodle because I cough instantly after taking a few bites from it. I don't think the food is clean either

I grew up eating here , so it truly does bring back memories. This place will always be my go to while around the area . Give this place a try please! My order has changed over the years but I definitely recommend the pig intestine noodle or the fish fillet noodles . The best appetizers are the ears , intestines , and the beef . Service is amazing as well.
