The server we had was very good, the food was okay, nothing great, nothing terrible. Worst part was the owner was blasting Yanni on the TV radio.
I never got my Opentable points. But this had to be one of the worst Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at in the South Bay! The Caesar salad had very little dressing and no parmigiana cheese, I had to ask for some, the lasagne was not fresh the noodles were mushy and there was hardly any meat in it, the veal was coated in flour and supposedly cooked, but I could taste the raw flour (I hardly ate it) the pasta that came with it was overcooked and came on the plate with nothing on it but parsley. The veal had about tablespoons of sauce in it so I asked for extra sauce to put on the pasta and I was told I’d have to pay extra for it! I have never heard of such a thing before. I have never been served plain pasta before! Save your money! Terrible experience!
Tried for lunch and it was perfect. Good food portions at reasonable prices.
This was our first time at this restaurant. Made a reservation, but definitely did not need it. Located in a strip mall, and next to a laundromat and massage place. Little strange. Not much ambiance to the place. It needs to be warmed up a bit (not including the overhead fans that were at full blast). It does not give a warm and inviting feeling when you go in. Asked for a wine list. They don't have one. The owner brought out two bottles of chardonnay that they have to show us. Little strange. Took a while to get the wine, and then the wait staff passed us by multiple times. Finally had to ask for someone to take our order. Food was very good. I had the veal picata which had a great lemony sauce on it. My friend had the baked rigatoni, and she said it was also very good, just a large portion. Veal was served with plain penne pasta noodles, but the sauce for the veal was plentiful, so no problem. Rigatoni, was just that, but again a large portion. For both entrees and a bottle of Coppola chardonnay, the total was $67.00 A bargain, but it would be nice if the spiffed up the place a bit.
