We had fischtacos at “El Norteño”. the place is very clean and has a great service. fischtacos tasted wonderful and they are served in the original wise, it is worth visiting on the market. a short view through the seafood market and Ensenada...port is also interesting

Ensenada Mercado Negro is a gem to visit in the Ensenada Port area. The seafood is very fresh and completely local. Some of the restaurants serve Margaritas and Beer. The Seafood and Shrimp Cocktail is unbeatable. The flavors with the sauce and fresh fish are...unique and very special to this area. The table has jars of special sauces and chopped cabbage and salsa. There are venders selling crafts. The prices are way lower than on the main street. We even took a boat ride around the harbor for $2.00 each. This area was a highlight of our trip to Mexico. To find this walk down the street past the huge gold statues. Turn left at the second street and you will find the Market. If you are already downtown, at McDonalds go towards to ocean and then turn right 1 block and then left the next block. It was safe, very clean and very inexpensive.

Basically this is a cluster of a dozen small cafés serving fresh seafood from the adjacent large seafood market on the Ensenada waterfront. Mercado Negro, or Mercado de Mariscos, whatever people call it, is a good place for family outings, especially on weekends. All the...cafés have similar menus featuring shrimp or mixed seafood cocktails, fish or shrimp tacos, ceviche and tostadas, crab, squid, and platters of whole fried fish. Tables have eight or ten sauces in big goblets, and plenty of spicy condiments. Tasty food at budget prices.

Baja California se distingue por su excelente gastronomía , este lugar no cuenta con ello !! Es más fama que lo que es en realidad ......Mercado de mariscos donde a un costado cuenta con restaurantes en donde hay música a todo volumen de banda (a quien le guste esta perfecto ) , servicio pésimo , los mariscos no son los mejores, tostadas de ceviche insípidas, pescado frito crudo por dentro ???? Sin sabor , los costos igual que cualquier lugar de mariscos : 180 a 250 pesos un platillo , con ese dinero puedes comer en cualquier mejor restaurante realmente bueno y con atención de primera en Ensenada.No gastes tu dinero aquí !!!!
