Contribuer aux commentairesFive years ago at my first visit to san miguel we stumbled at this place by a sheer chance. I am so glad that I have made a picture of our food because I would not have been able to find the place otherwise. true story, I had to. some politicists in the city showing pictures to ask if they have recognized the teller and the restaurant because I had no idea where I could find the place. they helped me find the place and I was so glad to visit my friend and her family from Mexico City. they have loved eating and experience absolutely, it is extremely authentic, it is set up as a buffet, so do not expect table service outside the demand server for drinks. all of the meatballs, the roasted chicken, sauces, rice whatever they want. it's like someone prepares the grandmother. they will not be disappointed.
It's not so great, eating was meh. we went to dinner buffet that was 120 pesos. the sort was not good for us non-Mexicians. don't get me wrong, I love Mexican cuisine, but that was just not good. the mexicans seemed, however. to connect them, so maybe a regional thing. I wouldn't return.
What a great way to sample a large number of regional dishes for so little pesos/ ! My husband was at first skeptical but the manager introduced us to what was on offer and when he got to the authentic fajita dish, i was sold. There...was only one of the 10-or-so dishes i didn 't care for and the soup w/chicken and hominy was my favorite. Haute couisine? No. An excellent value non tourist-trap lunch choice? Absolutely!
This is basic Mexican fare, but for the busy traveler (and the place itself is busy), it's a quick all-you-can-eat stop just off El Jardin Principal (on Relox). The soups are wonderful (though they could be a little hotter). And incredibly, we liked the pasta...too. Reasonably priced.
If u r hungry and do not want to spend to much come here you serve yourself and eat just like that. The fajitas and the rice are the best. IMPORTANT drinks are not included.
