What I did not know is that I could have have shared this thing with FOUR people. (I have enjoyed the leftovers though! . The dish is served in a molten hot vessel made of stone, so everything will arrive sizzling. Everyone at my table of 6 really enjoyed their meal. We ended up with WAY too much food, because their portions are so generous. They were super careful on the covid protocols, and it was nice that the place was open air.
They have a great view of the city of San Miguel de Allende and beyond. We had a wonderful meal and watched the beautiful sunset and then all the lights come on. it was our favorite view, The food was great, the portions were large and the price was very good. I had one of their appetizers and was more then I could eat. (only could finish half of my Quesadillas). Some one had the volcano and was warned they better be hungry. They couldn't finish it, but all they could say was how good it was. Combine the view with the food it was our favorite restaurant.
We enjoyed an amazing meal which consisted of a superheated mocajete filled with shrimp, fish, beef and chicken in a spicy green chile sauce. It was served with piping hot homemade corn tortillas that were delicious themselves along with refried beans, guacamole and pico de gallo. Three of us ate until we could eat no more. The waiter was very attentive and the live music was beautiful. The view completed our great experience. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.
Rica comida típica mexicana, buenas porciones, precios razonables.
