Big Sur - San Simeon

Hosts very friendly. Chicken sandwich was very good. The ribeye sandwhich was sometimes very tough, but tasted good. The fries were very good, some of the best I've had so far. There are 2 stars because of the outrageously high tax, almost 15% was added and then tip should be selected. We only noticed this outrageously high tax during the course of the trip. The restaurant here was almost the most expensive for an average meal so far. And we eat every day.

The day we ate 3 days ago the food was bad, not tasty and expensive.

Very nice and relaxing. Food is great and will be back. Wheelchair accessibility: The place has ramps to go inside or for the outside dining.

The first time my son and I visited this restaurant, the food was amazing. We order the captain platter and nachos. The serving was worth the money. Everything is made fresh and has lots of flavor. The food will not disappoint.

Nice atmosphere...delicious food...The apple pie was also delicious!
