I cannot fathom why this place is so popular, with so many people eating there. The char siu, zhar yuk and siew yuk are ridiculously salty, the roasted chicken and duck are tough and chewy and bland, the noodles come in a watery bland sauce. Sides like the soy sauce tea egg and tofu are decent, but the beansprouts are merely doused in the dripping sauce from the meats, so can be quite salty. The wantons have too much cornstarch so are oddly soft and fatty, not having much meat. Prices are not cheap, where a standard plate of wanton noodles costing about RM7.50. They sell whole ducks for RM100, and a number of people come to order them to takeaway.
The heat of roasted burner placed behind the kitchen causes the ceiling and wiring with signed of burnt. Dangerous in a long run. The food is very expensive.
Eating in this restaurant is good. they could have a decent breakfast and lunch. they are also very friendly, and they also served quickly to eat and no long wait or wait. So if they are in a hurry, this restaurant is also for them.
Sometime i come to this restaurant for breakfast at here order some delicious noodles roaster duck ,pork or others. The foods here is so delicious too, but somehow the garbage can next to the road at main pasar kim fung make me loss of appetite. When the wind blows the all kinds of smell came in to your nose. Why goverment didnot take any solution to avoid this kinds of thing.
