Contribuer aux commentairesThe Trouville is an old hotel with beautiful old school values. It's a little worn but a great place. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming from reception, room service to catering. The Trouville hosted a music weekend this is my 2nd year and all of the above helped to make it a fun time! It is also nicely situated by the sea which is a real bonus. If you are wanting somewhere warm, welcoming and friendly, the Trouville is the place! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
Visited the hotel to attend one of their regular afternoon ballroom 'tea dances '. Haven 't stayed at the hotel, so I 'm unable to comment on the rooms or meals. That said, ballroom is superb with a large, clean door with lovely decor that suits the art deco style of the hotel. The team dance was excellent and well attended. Lots of space on the floor to move even when popular dances were being played. Bar service was also good and nice to see local ales on sale. Helpful staff behind the bar and in reception. Location on the Promenade is great meaning wonderful sea views from the ballroom and adjacent lounge. Noteworthy details: Superb ballroom will visit again if there 's a dance in when we 're next on the Isle of Wight Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
