Not bad, but nothing to write home about. On to the Bacon Burger. Excellent Burger! I ate only half, and set one half aside for later. Then the Meatloaf. Also excellent; I hope to repeat that. There was also a piece of Cornbread. Quite good; also worth repeating. The Cornbread comes with Land O Lakes Fresh Buttery Taste Spread. I CAN believe it 's not butter, but of all the fake butters I 've tried, this is close to the top. the Cornbread was a bit on the sweet side, which is fine with me. Later in the evening I finished off the Bacon Burger and Meatloaf. They reheated quite well and were just as good as the first time. The Fries were still rather ~meh~. I look forward to returning.
First timer here, wanted to try something new, went with the biscuits with sausage gravy platter, at first I liked it, it was new to me, but it is something that is so heavy the more you eat it the more you get tired of it. The grits were pretty bad, none like I ever had before, must be made of a more Grindy material. The eggs are made to your liking and the juice was fresh. I'd comeback for something else
On our way to Richmond airport we decided to try this dinner rather than Waffle House down the street. Wife and I shared the ‘He Man’ breakfast platter and not only it is affordable $9.95, it was delicious and plentiful! Service was fast and waitress are friendly, wish we have a place like this in Cville!
The food came out hot, and staff was very friendly. I had the salmon cakes which tasted very good, and the grits and eggs were cooked perfect. My wife had bacon eggs and hash browns that she really liked. We also added a short stack of pancakes. They were almost the size of the plate! The only thing I didn't like was that the dishes looked like the water in the machine hadn't been changed in a while. I will return here to try lunch next.
The worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. The place was dirty, when I tried placing my order I had to flag someone down. About 20 minutes later I can see my food sitting on the refrigerator table waiting for lettuce. A few minutes go by and no ones doing anything so I ask if that was my food and if it was ready. The only guy cooking grabs the lettuce with the same glove he was grabbing raw bacon with and while reaching over my food something from his glove falls into my food. I requested a refund for this exact reason, and the old woman who said she was the manager caught an attitude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone under the age of 60.
