The Fairview Dairy Bar - Sanford

I grew up going to the Fairview Dairy Bar! It has always been my favorite local hometown restaurant....until the new owners!! I couldn 't agree more with the previous comment! Plus, they seem to have went on a firing spree !! All of the waitresses who have been there for years are gone. It 's just not the same anymore!

Use to be a great place to eat all my life. Now since the sell of the restaurant the new owners are not friendly, they own a fast food restaurant in town. They are more interested in making money than keeping customers. The menu items are less, and food does not taste good anymore. They are arrogant at their fast food stores and so are they here. Wish the Fulton's still owned it, or rather his daughter and son in law.

That is the most painful restaurant I have ever visited. they can get quite everything they would expect in a normal diner with normal menus and normal sitting options, including a theke with hockern. it was clean and well occupied. they have reasonable prices and daily specificities. I realized that after the arrival they have a kind of 50s thema. if not for contemporary pricing, I could almost believe that I was in the 50’s or 60’s. six months in north carolina and it is also the best restaurant we have visited. when I lived in sanford, I go every week.

Sent to diner as we normally do 3x per week on 3/24/21. the positions are getting smaller, but this is not the reason why I comment. we usually pay with our credit card in register. on this special evening our waiter brought us a card scanner to pay. I have already included a 20% tip, and has not been given the option of a drink. that was a nasty, rotten thing to do with people who are in the really high drinking money. in front of the shenanigans of men. the management didn't mix.

I'll go to Sanford for breakfast. You have a great service and delicious food. I highly recommend it.
